General flow of your first dealcode AI campaign

1. Technical Setup

Before you can create campaigns, a few technical prerequisites must be met to ensure successful email delivery.

  1. Create a New Email Account: You will need a new, dedicated email address with its own inbox.

Important: This cannot be an alias. The email address must be personalized to an individual (e.g., [email protected]), not a generic address like sales@.

💡 Pro Tip: If you have trouble creating a new address, our team can create a new domain and email address for you. Please contact support for assistance.

  2. Configure SPF and DKIM: Ensure that SPF and DKIM records are correctly set up for the new email address's domain. This is a critical step for email deliverability.

  3. Provide Credentials to dealcode AI: Securely share the login credentials for this new email account with the dealcode AI team.

  4. Create the AI Outreach Agent: In dealcode AI, set up a new AI Outreach Agent using the details of the new email address you just created.

➡️ For detailed instructions, see our article: How to set up an AI Outreach Agent.

2. Lead Search & Refinement

Next, you will find and prepare the list of leads you want to contact.

  1. Define Your Target Audience: Clearly identify your buying persona. What are the correct job titles? In which country do you want to search?

  2. Start Your Lead Searches: Use the AI Lead Search Agent to find potential leads based on your defined criteria.

➡️ You can find everything you need to know about lead searches here:

💡 Pro Tip: You have two ways to search! Try the new conversational method with our AI Lead Search Chat: Step-by-Step guide.

  3. Process Your Lead Search Results: Review the lists generated by your searches.

  4. Delete or Move Leads: Remove leads or move Leads that are not a good fit for this specific campaign.

💡 Pro Tip: To permanently prevent certain companies or job titles from appearing in any future results, add them to the Lead Search Blacklist.

3. Campaign Setup

Now it's time to create the content and structure for your outreach.

Your To-Do's:

  1. Create a Company Pitch: Define the core content, benefits, and USPs of your company that the AI will use to formulate messages.

➡️ Follow our guide: How to create the Company Pitch.

  2. Create a Template: Build the specific message sequence for your campaign using placeholders and your Company Pitch.

  3. Finalize Your General Blacklist: Before launching your campaign, ensure your main Blacklist (in Settings) is up-to-date with any customers, competitors, or partners you do not want to contact.

4. Launching the First Campaign & Email Warm-Up Phase

Once the setup is complete, your first campaign can begin. It will start with a "warm-up" phase for the new email address to ensure high deliverability and prevent your messages from being marked as spam.

About the Warm-Up Phase:

  • Duration: The warm-up phase lasts approximately 6 weeks, provided that at least one campaign is actively running throughout this entire period.

  • Sending Volume: During this phase, the number of emails sent per day is intentionally limited and gradually increased:

    • Week 1: 5 emails per sending day

    • Week 2: 10 emails per sending day

    • Week 3: 15 emails per sending day

    • ...and so on.

💡 Pro Tip: To avoid any downtime, you can and should prepare and launch additional campaigns during the warm-up period.
