With dealcode.ai you can efficiently search LinkedIn profiles using industries, job titles, and locations. The new AI Lead Search Chat helps you do this in a conversational style - step by step, with smart suggestions and intuitive guidance built right in.
How the Chat Works
The AI Lead Search Chat talks you through the setup of your lead search by asking questions.
For some questions you’ll be given answer options to select from.
For others you’ll be asked to type your response (e.g., city names or job titles).
You can skip any step that’s optional by clicking on Skip this step.
You can answer in English or any other language - the chat will understand you!
You’ll find an overview of your current search settings in the right-hand column of the screen.
To edit any setting, click the three dots, choose Edit, make your changes, and click Save at the bottom of the column.
💡Prefer the old search style? You can switch back to the form-based lead search below the chat. Be aware: this will start a new search and won’t keep your current inputs.

Location (optional): Add a city or specific location only if it’s truly essential. Over-restricting your search by location can reduce the number of quality leads you receive, so use this filter sparingly.
Industries (optional): You can add up to 5 industries from LinkedIn’s extensive categories.
👉Tip: Look up your ideal leads on LinkedIn before the search and note their listed industries to build a better search strategy.
Industries - similar or exact match: If you select industries, the chat will ask you whether you want to include similar industries in your search.
👉Tip: Finding similar industries will result in more leads.
Example:
Selected industry: Construction
Find industries similar to the selection: Includes industries like Building Construction, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, or Building Finishing Contractors in your lead search.
Find selected industries only: Only finds leads within the industry Construction.
Job Titles: Add up to 5 exact job titles that match your target audience.
Separate multiple job titles with commas
You can ask the chat for job title suggestions. However, we recommend researching relevant job titles on LinkedIn before your search.
👉Tip: Use all languages in which your target group may indicate their job title on LinkedIn. Examples: Einkaufsleiter, Purchasing Manager, Head of Purchasing.
Have more than 5 titles in mind? Split them across multiple searches and later merge the results into one lead list. Learn more.
💡 If you are using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, you will be asked additional questions, such as the desired company size of seniority of your target group.
Name your Lead Search: Give your search a name that’s descriptive and easy to identify later. For example, include the target audience and the date, like “CMO_Search_2024.” This keeps everything organized for quick reference.
❗ This is your last chance to review and adjust your lead search settings. Check the settings in the right-hand column of the screen.
