How to use Job Title Explorer

Job Title Explorer is a tool within the AI Lead Search Planner. With this tool you can find out which related job titles LinkedIn will automatically include in the lead search when you expand your search beyond the exact match.

👉This tool is only available, if you connected LinkedIn Sales Navigator with your account!


Your benefits:

  • Identify subgroups within niche titles (e.g., Fair Organizer)

  • Decide whether it makes sense to broaden or narrow down your job title search criteria.

  • Never miss relevant roles within your target audience

  • Refine or expand your search using data-driven insights

  • Save time and resources by validating your search and excluding irrelevant job titles from your lead search via blacklisting.


How it works:

1. Activate Job Title Explorer

  • Click on Lead Search Planner in the menu on the left.

  • Toggle the Job Title Explorer at the top of the page.

2. Explore Job Titles

  • Enter the job title you'd like to analyze (e.g., Sales).

  • Press Enter.

The Estimator will show you related job titles like Sales Operations Executive or Sales Agent. Go through the search results and evaluate:

➡️ If you want to exclude some of these job titles in your lead searches:

➡️ If the results match your needs:

  • Copy the job title you explored and use it in your Lead Search.

  • When asked, opt for finding job titles similar to your selection.

All the job titles you explored earlier will then be used included in your search.
