How to Activate Your Sales Navigator License

Preparation: Connect Your LinkedIn Account

Before you can request an upgrade, your standard LinkedIn account must be connected to dealcode AI.

Navigate to Lead Search Results.

If not already connected, click on Connect LinkedIn Account and follow the prompts to log in with your personal LinkedIn credentials (not your dealcode AI credentials).

Step 1: Request the Sales Navigator Upgrade

  1. Once your standard LinkedIn account is connected, locate and click the Upgrade button within the Connected Accounts Section

  2. This action notifies our team to assign the Sales Navigator license to your user account.

Step 2: Await Confirmation from dealcode AI

After you click the upgrade button, our team will process the request. You will receive a confirmation email from the dealcode AI team acknowledging that the license assignment is in progress.

Step 3: Receive and Open the LinkedIn Sales Navigator Activation Email

Once the license has been assigned on our end, you will receive an official activation email sent directly from LinkedIn.

💡 Info: This email will come from LinkedIn, not dealcode AI. Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not see it in your inbox within a reasonable time.

Step 4: Activate Your License in LinkedIn

  1. Open the email from LinkedIn.

  2. Click the activation link inside the email.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions within the LinkedIn platform to complete the setup of your Sales Navigator account.

Step 5: Reconnect Your LinkedIn Account in dealcode AI

This is a critical step to synchronize your new license with our platform and to ensure everything will run smoothly.

  1. Return to dealcode AI and navigate to Connected Accounts (in “Settings”).

  2. Disconnect your current LinkedIn connection.

  1. Click Connect LinkedIn Account again and log in with your credentials.

❗ Important: This "reconnect" step is crucial. It ensures that dealcode AI recognizes your new Sales Navigator license, allowing all associated features to function correctly in your subsequent lead searches.

Step 6: Start a Lead Search

You are now ready to use the full power of Sales Navigator within dealcode AI. To confirm everything is working correctly, start a new Lead Search. You should now have access to enhanced search capabilities.
