Why can't I edit my lead list anymore?

Once a lead list is linked to a campaign (active or completed), it becomes locked for editing. This helps ensure consistent tracking and results across your outreach.

Why can’t I select my lead list during campaign setup?

There are a few reasons why your lead list might not show up as available for campaign use:

  1. Contact search hasn’t been started yet:
    Make sure you’ve clicked Search contact information in the top right corner of your lead list.

  2. Your list still includes leads without email addresses:
    After running the contact search, remove leads without email addresses.

Double-check each of these points and update your lead list accordingly. Once it’s cleaned up and meets all requirements, it should appear as an option in the campaign setup.

Why is the lead search taking so long?

dealcode.ai isn’t just pulling data from a static database — we run real-time data queries, which can take a little longer. Once the data is retrieved, we also run an initial clean-up to remove invalid or duplicate entries.

This means that search results aren’t available immediately. Depending on the size of your list, it might take a few minutes.

Why are only a few leads found, even though I entered multiple job titles?

There are a few reasons why your lead search might return fewer results than expected:

  1. These job titles not commonly used on LinkedIn:
    Some roles you entered might not match actual job titles used on LinkedIn. Try variations or alternative titles.

  2. No duplicates per account:
    dealcode.ai won’t show the same lead twice. If you've already searched similar titles before, those leads won’t appear again in your account.

  3. Industry filter too narrow:
    Check the selected industry — some industries have fewer companies listed than others.

  4. LinkedIn daily limit:
    If you expect a high number of leads, consider splitting your search into smaller batches. This allows you to bypass LinkedIn’s daily limit and often results in more total leads.

How can I export my leads to my CRM system?

There are two easy ways to get your leads from dealcode.ai into your CRM:

  1. Use BCC tracking:
    Emails sent via dealcode.ai can be automatically tracked in your CRM if your sender email address has the right permissions. Just set up BCC tracking in your CRM.

  2. Use Zapier for full data export:
