If you want to make the most of your lead searches, you should take some time to prepare. Because the quality of your input will determine the quality of your output.

For a successful campaign you should have a clearly defined Ideal Customer Persona (ICP). For dealcode.ai to find leads for this ICP, you must provide job titles and industry categories as they are used on LinkedIn.

➡️ Research Job Titles

  • Research profiles that match your ICP on LinkedIn.

  • Make a list of job titles that are used in these profiles.

  • Come up with different variations of the job title - because job titles may be used in different spellings or variations on LinkedIn.

E.g.: If you are looking for an IT manager with a leading position, you could use the following job titles:

IT manager, IT-Manager, IT-Managerin, IT-Leitung, IT Leitung, IT Leiter, IT Leiterin, CIO, Chief Information Officer, CTO, Chief Technology Officer, Leiter Informationstechnologie, Leitung Informationstechnologie, Head of IT, Head of Information Technology,..

➡️ Research Industries

  • Go to the profiles of your ICP on LinkedIn.

  • Click on their current company in their CV section to open the company page on LinkedIn.

  • Make a list of the industries that are used in these profiles.

➡️Run test with small lead amounts

To test the potential of certain searches, we recommend you run three or four different smaller searches, e.g. with 50 leads per search, to tap into the potential of each search.

You can later combine all search results from the smaller searches by moving them to a single search list.
