With dealcode.ai you can efficiently search LinkedIn profiles using industries, keywords, and locations. Here’s how to get started.

Preparation: Connect Your LinkedIn Account

Before your first Lead Search, you must connect your LinkedIn account with dealcode.ai.

  1. Navigate to Lead Search Results.

  2. Click on Connect LinkedIn Account.

  3. Follow the prompts to log in with your LinkedIn credentials (not dealcode credentials).

Once connected, you can see your lead search limit, reflecting LinkedIn's restrictions.

Step 1: Set up the Lead Search

Once your LinkedIn accoung is connectd, you are ready for the Lead Sarch.

  • Click on Start Lead Search to define your search criteria.

Step 2: Enter Search Parameters

Country: Select the country you want to search for leads from the dropdown menu.

Location (optional): Add a city or specific location only if it’s truly essential. Over-restricting your search by location can reduce the number of quality leads you receive, so use this filter sparingly.

Industries (optional): You can add up to 5 industries from LinkedIn’s extensive categories.

👉Tip: Look up your ideal leads on LinkedIn and note their listed industries to build a better search strategy.

  • Choose whether you want to find industries similar to your selection or selected industries only.

  • On the right, narrow your options by selecting a broader Industry Category, then choose the most relevant subcategories.

👉Tip: Finding similar industries will result in more leads.

Example:

  • Selected industry: Construction

  • Find industries similar to the selection: Includes industries like Building Construction, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, or Building Finishing Contractors in your lead search.

  • Find selected industries only: Only finds leads within the industry Construction.

Job Titles: Add up to 5 exact job titles that match your target audience.

  • Separate multiple job titles with commas or by pressing ENTER.

  • Choose whether you want to find job titles similar to your selection (requires Sales Navigator) or only your selected job titles (default).

  • Selecting “similar job titles” may result in a broader lead pool, while the default option is more precise.

👉Tip: Use all languages in which your target group may indicate their job title on LinkedIn. Examples: Einkaufsleiter, Purchasing Manager, Head of Purchasing.

Have more titles in mind? Split them across multiple searches and later merge the results into one lead list. Learn more.
