Blacklisting allows you to specify which leads should not appear in your lead lists. This prevents certain individuals from receiving messages from your campaigns.

Who should I blacklist?

Blacklist anyone you don’t want in your lead lists or receiving your campaign messages, such as:

  • Current customers (when running a new customer acquisition campaign)

  • Competitors

  • Partner companies

  • Leads who have responded negatively

  • Leads who have positively responded and, for example, scheduled an appointment

👉 If you have multiple leads at a large company, blacklist only the specific email address of uninterested individuals, not the entire company domain. This prevents limiting potential opportunities within different departments of the same company.

How to blacklist

You can blacklist individual e-mail addresses ([email protected]) or entire domains (company.com).

➡️ Access Settings:

  • Click Settings in the sidebar.

  • Click the Blacklist tab.

  • Click Add emails or Add domains

➡️ Add Emails or Domains:

  • Paste addresses/domains from your clipboard, one domain per line.

  • Click Check to verify the existence and correct spelling.

  • Click Add to include the domain in your blacklist.

⚡ When blacklisting domains, do not include “www” or “@”. Example:

  • ❌ Incorrect: www.dealcode.ai, @dealcode.ai

  • ✔️Correct: dealcode.ai

Viewing your blacklist

  • Go to Settings.

  • Click the Blacklist tab.

  • View two lists: E-Mail blacklist and Domain blacklist.

  • To search these lists, enter an email/domain in the search field and press Enter.

When to blacklist

  • AI Cold Outreach: During an active campaign, to prevent leads from receiving further messages after following your CTA. Only those who reply directly to an email are automatically blacklisted by dealcode.ai.
